Complete and Partial Dentures

Missing teeth make day-to-day activities like eating and speaking difficult. In addition, having gaps in your teeth can make you feel self-conscious about laughing and smiling. Perhaps most importantly, missing teeth can make it difficult for you to eat healthy foods that support your nutrition.

Are you missing teeth or do you have extractions scheduled in your future? If so, then it is the right time to discuss full and partial removable dentures. Dr. Kikel is an expert when it comes to dentures. In fact, he has been making them for our patients for over thirty years.

Advancements in both complete and partial dentures allow us to create comfortable, realistic, and attractive dentures to complete your smile.

High-Quality Complete Dentures

Complete (full) dentures work for people who are missing all of their natural teeth on their upper arch, lower arch, or both arches. Complete dentures are usually made of pink acrylic and artificial teeth. One of the benefits of complete dentures is that you can customize how they look. You can have a brighter smile and perfect teeth so you can make the most out of having dentures. Dr. Kikel will provide guidance so your dentures look completely natural.

In order to make dentures that fit accurately, we need to take impressions. We work with a highly skilled dental lab to ensure the proper fit and bite and to guarantee your comfort.

Once your dentures come back from the dental lab, Dr. Kikel will make final adjustments and schedule a follow up visit.

Natural-Looking Partial Dentures

If you still have healthy natural teeth, we will recommend a partial denture to complete your smile. When we fabricate partial dentures for our patients, we make sure they match your existing teeth so they blend in with your smile. We can make partial dentures from a combination of metal and acrylic with artificial teeth. Partials anchor to your existing teeth, providing extra stability and function. It is essential that you maintain outstanding oral hygiene so that your remaining teeth, your anchors, remain healthy and intact.

Your partial dentures may need an adjustment from time to time. Give us a call if something feels odd so that we can adjust your partial and keep you feeling comfortable.

Denture Care and Routine Exams

As with any dentistry, maintaining your routine exams and cleanings will help your dentistry last longer. Even if you have complete dentures, regular visits will allow us to check for denture sores, needed repairs, and to perform an oral exam including an oral cancer screening.
